New High School Facilities

Dear Parents,

Good news!

The renovations to the high school building are complete, and we will be able to move the high school into its new facilities before Spring Festival.

This expansion in the school facilities relieves the pressure on several crowded classrooms, including ESL, Chinese and 1^st grade, makes the new high school science lab operational, and creates additional classroom capacity for the school to meet future demand.

Middle school and some elementary classrooms will also be affected by the move. Middle school will move to the 4^th floor of the main building, and upper elementary will move to the 3^rd floor.

To complete the move before Spring Festival, we are making a small change to the school calendar. February 5^th, the last day before Spring Festival Vacation, will be a half-day for students. Students will leave school at 11:45am. The staff will remain at school to assist with moving furniture and equipment. When the students return they will be in their new classrooms.

좋은 소식이 있습니다.

고등학교 건물 재공사가 끝났으며, 춘절 전에 고등학교가 이동해 들어갈 수 있게 되었습니다.

이 학교 건물 확장은 좁았던ESL,중국어, 1학년 등의 교실들이 더 넓은 공간을 사용할 수 있게 되며, 새로운 고등학교 과학 실험실을 만들고, 향후 더 필요하게 될 추가 교실을 둘 수 있게 합니다.

중학교와 일부 초등학교 교실도 이동이 있게 됩니다. 중학교는 건물4층으로 올라가며 초등학교 고학년은 3층으로 이동하게 됩니다.

이동이 춘절 전에 끝날 수 있도록 학교 시간에 약간의 조정이 있게 되었습니다. 춘절 연휴 이전인 2월 5일 금요일은 오전 수업만 하게 됩니다. 학교에서 11시 45분에 떠나게 됩니다. 교직원들은 학교에 남아서 가구와 기구 운반을 돕게 됩니다. 학생들이 돌아올 때에는 새로운 교실에 있게 될 것입니다.
